Closure of Division Road West for emergency road repair

Division Road West (Wainman Line to Fairgrounds Road) is currently closed to traffic due to unsafe road conditions. As of Tuesday, April 8 at 7:00 a.m., no through traffic will be permitted due to significant digging to facilitate the replacement of a culvert under the roadway. The road will remain closed until further notice. Read the notice.

Traffic Calming Measures

Traffic calming refers to the use of measures to help reduce traffic speeds, discouarge through traffic, and improve safety for pedestrians and non-motorized road users. 

Complete this form if you'd like to request traffic calming measures in the Township of Severn. 

Requests can be submitted at anytime, however, requests will be only be investigated from April 16 to November 14, as colder weather can impact the quality of outdoor data staff can retrieve to assess your request. We will only investigate and consider requests that are completed, signed, and dated.
